Planning, Packing, Preparation
After months of planning, we have purchansed tickets and are packing bags. Lea and I leave for New Zealand January 19th. Greg will follow a couple of weeks later. We are busy cleaning and purging our house so that the Hopkins family can live here. The good thing is that nooks and crannies which have not been cleaned in 20 years are getting clean. Stuff that's accumulated for 20 years is going to Goodwill or the dump. The bad thing is figuring out exactly what we'll need for six months. We are limiting ourselves to two suitcases, with priority on.....biking, hiking, staying connected and oh yeah and on work and school.

ReplyDeleteYou must be very excited over there!! Looking forward to hearing about all of your adventures. Good luck with your cleaning and packing and SMOOTH, SAFE TRAVELS!! XOXO
Hey, nice idea guys...will follow your side of the story with interest!! Our nooks and crannies looking slightly better after 3 days of cleaning, purging etc - can't wait for the dump and 'crow's nest' to re-open so I can get some space in the garage back :-) Carry on...
ReplyDeleteMarina, we'll miss you at the office, but we are looking forward to meeting our new cubie mate Mr. Hopkins. We'll live vicariously through you for the next 6 months, so good luck and have fun enough for all of us. Oh yeah, don't forget to bring back some vegemite! Safe travels, love J,J&D
